Circa’s Library is the first usage-based platform for Life Cycle Assessment. You only pay for the data you use.
Buy Credits#
Credits are used to license datapoints in Circa’s LCA Studio.
Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select Buy credits. You’ll be redirected through Stripe to complete your purchase.
Licensing Data#
All data in Circa’s LCA Studio is licensed per-datapoint. Datapoints are licensed per-user, per-team, and are available for a period of one year.
Not every team member needs to license the same datapoints. Each team member can license only the data they need, which helps teams working across different projects lower their licensing costs.
Once a datapoint is licensed, it’s available to that user across all of their models within that team. You won't be charged again for data you've already licensed when using it in additional LCA models.
What’s a “Datapoint”?#
There are three categories of licensable data.
The different categories ensure users only pay for data that’s valuable to them.
For example, you can complete a simple screening-level LCA by just licensing the Process LCIA values. You only need to license Process exchanges or allocation ratios when completing more complex & valuable LCAs.

Cash Out Credits#
Sell credits you’ve earned from publishing data back to Circa for cash.
Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select Cash out credits. You’ll be redirected to Stripe to connect your business payment details.
Once your Stripe account is connected, you can sell your credit balance back to Circa using the same Cash out credits menu.
Only credits which have been earned through data publishing or purchased can be sold back to Circa.
